I don't know.....

I learned I won't be teaching the 5-6 year olds in Primary, but will be teaching the 4-5 year olds! Now, I'll have 6 in my class instead of 4. It'll be another "1st" tomorrow in teaching the young kids. I'll have name tags again. I know about3-4 of the kids names and will learn the others tomorrow. I already know that one little girl isn't used to coming to church and doesn't know how to sit still very long. I might not want to sit still very long either! I hate 1st times. I want to know what's going to be going on before it happens.

Slow day today. I made one card and cut four packs of new paper into card size and then folded three of the packs into cards. That took about an hour and I going to go get the mail now. Dad's been doing his pills and hooping and hollowering with the birds. No wonder people in our family go crazy! I'm putting my name back on the list to go to the "home" any day now.

Thanks again for "spoiling " Forrest mom. He had a great time! You'll do a great job teaching. You're a great teacher and now you get to help plant the seed of the gospel in these sweet little children. You can do it!

I know what you mean about "1st"s . Those are hard and i hope you survived!

I can't wait for our visit next month!!! We will come Monday night after I teach my spin class. Wahoo!

We are camping over Labor Day weekend at Stone Mountain....probably a bad time to do it over a holiday weekend but it is the only time we could do it. Next summer I will schedule a long weekend into my schedule and let the parents know about it up front so they can plan for it.

And yes nate know about his heritage. For a while this year he was saying "i don't like black people" and we told him he was half black and how wonderful that was, yadda yadda yadda. Then he would say he wanted his skin to be white like mine....and we just reassured him that brown is beautiful, yadda yadda yadda. then he finally said "i like being brown". He no doubt heard this nonsense on the bus or from someone at school. I hate that they learn that kind of junk from thier peers!
