I ordered a new Kindle today. It should be here in 3-4 days. I can still read with my old one. I just miss three or four words that are covered up with the flaw that is on the screen.
Did my Wednesday things. Went to Walmart and only spent $10.95. I only got bananas and walnuts. Rikki gets the walnuts. They were $8-9.00 a 16 oz. package. She just gets a small piece for a treat.
Trudy is in a lot of pain with her back. Their insurance isn't good and she is hesitating using it. I'm afraid she will be permanently disabled if she doesn't do something about it soon.
A guy from Flanagan Lumber Co. came out and measured for cabinets today. We've decided to get the cheap cabinets from Nixon, unless someone can match his price. They would be nice for us but not fancy for the person who buys the house. That might not be for another 20 years.

- I'm a graduate of the University of Alabama,class of '66. I majored in music, piano and organ. I taught private piano lessons in Tuscaloosa for a year and then got a teaching job in Key West, FL. There I met my husband, Frank and four months later we were married. Have lived in Athens, AL since 1976. My children grew up in Athens. My husband is bedridden now so I add the title of care taker to the title of homemaker. I never wanted to work outside the home. I enjoyed gardening until I got breast cancer in 2002. I'm not able to do much garden work now, and I miss it. I enjoy going to the Wellness Ctr. to exercise. I enjoy making greeting cards and usually make a card or two each day. I love getting together with my daughters, Trudy and Mary Kate and my grandchildren. My son, Frank, lives in Knoxville,TN, so I don't see him often. He has 4 children. I enjoy being a grandmother.
